I'm going to be Nami from One Piece! I've already started looking for items for her Water 7 outfit. Hopefully I can complete this costume before Fanime next month. I'm taking a sewing class, so I plan on using the facilities to fashion a Luffy costume for my roommate and a Nami costume for myself! :D I'm super excited about making new cosplay and gearing up for Fanime.

Even though I have very few resources for making costumes, like money and time, I'm starting to plan my next costume. My mom (who is my official costuming consultant and sewing instructor) wants my next cosplay to be FEMALE. Like, and actual WOMAN. That wears a DRESS. Since she helped me so much with all of my pervious costumes, I feel obligated to comply and make a girly costume. This is quite baffling to me... I can't think of that many female characters (that wear dresses) that I would like to dress up as. :/ Don't get me wrong, I like wearing dresses just fine... just blanking on who I could be. Any thoughts?

I have a shiny nickel for anyone willing to give me a place to sleep. (and by shiny nickel, I probably mean I'll pay my full share. Probably.) If I have a place to stay, I'll be more likely to want to pay for the transportation to get me there...
